Processing & Shipping Policy
At The Sultry Scent Society, each product is handcrafted in small batches with care and attention to detail. Due to the nature of our extensive fragrance library and made-to-order production process, processing times are required before shipment. Processing time refers to the amount of time needed to prepare your order and does not include shipping transit time.
All processing times are calculated in business days only and exclude weekends and holidays.

Orders placed Monday–Thursday will begin processing the following business day.

Orders placed Friday–Sunday or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Please note that placing an order confirms your understanding and acceptance of the processing timelines listed below.

Perfumes, Body Oil Elixirs, Perfume Oils & Silk Soufflé Creams
Orders containing fragrance and scented body care products require approximately 10–15 business days for processing prior to shipment.
During high-volume promotional events, including SULTRY FRIDAY, processing times may extend up to 21 business days due to increased order volume.

As an independent small business, every order is personally formulated, prepared, packed, and fulfilled with care to ensure quality and consistency.
PRE-ORDER Items
Items listed as PRE-ORDER are subject to the extended processing timeframe stated on the product page and/or website announcement bar at the time of purchase. By purchasing a PRE-ORDER item, you acknowledge and agree to the listed processing timeline.
If your order contains both ready-to-ship and PRE-ORDER items, your order will ship once all items are available unless otherwise stated.

LASULTRIX™
Orders containing LASULTRIX™ products require approximately 3–5 business days for processing prior to shipment.
Please note that if your order includes any PRE-ORDER item, the entire order will ship together according to the PRE-ORDER processing timeline listed on the product page and/or website announcement bar.

Additional Shipping Information
Incorrect Address Policy
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping and billing information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
Orders returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may require additional shipping fees for reshipment. The Sultry Scent Society is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrectly entered addresses provided by the customer.

If you notice an address error, please contact us immediately. While we will make every reasonable effort to update your information before shipment, we cannot guarantee modifications once order processing has begun.

Once your order has been fulfilled and transferred to the shipping carrier, you will receive tracking information via email. Please allow carriers additional time during holidays, severe weather conditions, or peak shipping periods, as transit delays are outside of our control.
Processing times are estimates and may occasionally vary due to order volume, restocks, raw material availability, or unforeseen operational delays. We greatly appreciate your patience and support as a small independent brand.

Shipping Issues & Lost Packages
Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, The Sultry Scent Society is not responsible for delays, lost packages, stolen packages, or delivery issues caused by the shipping provider.
However, we value our customers and will gladly assist in the claims process to help reach a satisfactory resolution whenever possible. If your package is lost, marked as delivered but not received, or arrives damaged in transit, please contact us promptly so we can help initiate a carrier investigation or insurance claim if applicable.
To assist with claims, customers may be required to provide:

Due to the personal nature of fragrance and body care products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges based on individual scent preferences or product dissatisfaction. We strongly encourage customers to carefully review all scent notes, descriptions, and product details prior to purchasing.

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, defective, or leaking during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging so we may review and assist with a resolution.
